Beth Almeida has designed award-winning projects for clients including New England Baptist Hospital, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, and SpotOn. She interned at Captains of Industry, served as an associate designer at WGBH—Boston’s local NPR station and an affiliate of Public Radio International—and worked as a contract designer at Eyewire, a tech startup associated with MIT’s Seung Lab. Beth is a graduate of MassArt and a winner of the 2014 Kakehashi Creators Program Travel Award. As an award recipient, she was one of a select group of students chosen to participate in a foreign exchange program with several prominent graphic design schools in Japan. In response to her trip, she created a series of printmaking pieces influenced by traditional Japanese woodblock printing and worked with her fellow program participants to coordinate a gallery exhibit showcasing their work.
