Beth Almeida

Beth Almeida has designed award-winning projects for clients including Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, New England Baptist Hospital, +Rise, and SpotOn. Prior to joining Proper Villains, Beth was an associate designer at GBH (Boston’s local NPR station). She also worked as a contract designer at Eyewire, a tech startup associated with MIT’s Seung Lab. Beth is a graduate of MassArt, where she was a winner of the 2014 Kakehashi Creators Program Travel Award, a foreign exchange program with several prominent graphic design schools in Japan. In response to this experience, she created a series of pieces influenced by traditional Japanese woodblock printing, and worked with her fellow program participants to coordinate a gallery exhibit showcasing their work.
